How to bring preschoolers closer to differences in families through drama education

In my bachelor thesis I focus on how to bring preschool children closer to the differences in families through drama education. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part includes the characteristics of preschool age, specifically psychological development, social and emotional development and perceptual development. Furthermore, the characteristics of families according to several authors, basic functions and types of families according to aspects. A separate chapter is then devoted to foster family care and its forms. This is followed by a description of drama education, the aims of drama education, methods and techniques of drama education, the appropriate methods and techniques chosen for children in kindergarten and the personality of the drama teacher in kindergarten. The practical part focuses on action research in the form of five different drama education lessons on the topic of family and their differences, preceded by an interview with children on the topic and also concluding. Usage of Petr Horáček's books in dramatical education at work with children in preschool age

This bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of using Petr Horáček's books in drama education with preschool children. The theoretical part characterizes the development of the preschool child. At the same time, it defines dramatic education, its specifics in kindergarten, the goals and the personality of the teacher. Then the methods and techniques of dramatic education, its connection with literature, criteria for the selection of literature and appropriate literary genres for preschool age. The last chapter is devoted to Petr Horáček and his books, on which the drama lessons in the practical part are based on. The practical part consists of ten lessons on chosen books, which are: Silly Suzy Goose, The Mouse who ate the moon, A Best Friend for Bear, Blue penguin, The Best Place in the World, The Perfect Present, The Greedy goat, The Mouse who wasn't scared, Puffin Peter and Elephant. The lessons are implemented in one heterogeneous group of children in preschool age. These lessons explore how can books be used practically in dramatical education. Creating a safe classroom climate by methods of drama education for beginning groups of students

The diploma thesis focuses on the creation of a safe classroom climate by methods of dramatic education for a beginning group of pupils. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate whether the methods of drama education contribute to the creation of a safe climate in the classroom. In the theoretical part, I will define the concept of classroom climate, school climate and mention here the main actors involved in its creation. The second half of the theoretical part focuses on drama education. The aim of this part is to map suitable methods of this education that contribute to building a safe climate. I devote the practical part to the preparation of several lessons for a group of fourth-year students who have no experience with drama education. Part of the practical part are specific lessons and their reflections, which record the development of the starting group. At the very end, there will be a comparison of the classroom climate before the introduction of drama education methods and after the implementation of individual lessons. The diploma thesis Safety when meeting unknown people using dramatic education, in the form of folk fairy tales in the 1st year of elementary school deals the topic of the use of dramatic education in Czech language classes, specifically in literary education in the 1st year of primary school. Thematically, i tis focused on the use of fairy tales in the formo f dramatic lessons. Dramatic lessons are focused on fairy tales that also deal with the topic of meeting strangers, the positive development of students' cooperation and communication in the classroom, as well as the acquisition of some basic methods and techniques of dramatic eduacation. The diploma thesis focus on building classroom community throuhg drama education. It examines and discovers the work in a team and the connestion of ties to the new class teacher. The selected pupil will be characterized by his behavior and relationship with his classmates. This diploma thesis deals with methods and techniques of drama education, how they help prevent pathological phenomena at a young school age. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on the characteristics of drama education, the definition of methods and techniques, the history of drama education, and also anchoring in the FEP ZV. I also deal with the topic of pathological phenomena. Finally, in the theoretical work I describe the possibility of using drama education for the prevention of pathological phenomena. Using Methods andTechniques of Creative Drama Education to Understanding of Literary Texts

This diploma thesis concerns possibilities of using drama methods and techniques for understanding of literary texts within primary school education, with special emphasis on supporting pupils' reading. In its first theoretical part the basic terms are defined, such as literature, reading and their importance for a human; Literary Education and Drama Education (including its methods) and their possible meetings in the educational process. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with use of a literary text as a theme for a preparation for creative drama lessons, including drama structuring. The practical part is focused on three specific proposals for drama lessons with using literary texts. Two of them were carried out and evaluated with respect to the predetermined goals. It affirms that the application of drama methods and techniques within classes of literature and reading is justified. These coursework aims to pointed out the particular observation of the method used in drama education in the chosen kindergarten in respect with the age group of three and four years old pupils. In the theory part, I'm looking at the fundamental definitions and explanations of theoretical knowledge in drama and preschool education in general. The practical part is based on the realisation of the particular lessons of drama education as well as comparing and choosing the most suitable technique for teaching purposes of the youngest children. By evaluating the most effective approach in preschool teaching I was judging the individual methods and techniques from a pedagogue's point of view. How to use drama elements in music education with preschool children

This Bachelor thesis focuses on the effective acquisition of musical and content features of a song in pre-school children. This thesis aims to prove that it is possible to reach easier acquisition of a song and primarily the natural comprehension of its meaning by the use of selected methods of drama education, in connection with vocal and music education. In the introduction chapters, the thesis deals with brief characteristics of a pre-school child and the personal and professional prerequisites of a teacher in relation to managing drama and music education in pre-school children. The chapter is focused on musical abilities of children, and further on the meaning of vocal education and least but not last, on the methods of drama education used in the practical part of this thesis. The last chapter deals with the methodology of the structure of a drama lesson, focused on the acquisition of a song in a kindergarten. The practical part contains the examples of use of drama education for the purpose of the acquisition of a song applied in practice. Further, the success of applied lessons is compared in a questionnaire. Work with literary text by the help methods of dramatic education with 5-7 years old children

This thesis deals with the work with literary text by the help methods of dramatic education. The main aim is to find out possibilities and specifics for use these methods at work with 5-7 years old children and to offer lessons of dramatic education. This thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with peculiarities of evolution and necessities of 5-7 years old children, an importance of children's game, a role of literature in children's life, methods and techniques of dramatic education and a selection of literary text. The practical part of this thesis offers six lessons of dramatic education. These lessons were be realized at nursery school and in first and second class of primary school. A part of practical work are reflexes of these lessons with particular children's groups and their mutual comparison. This part contains free suggestions of other lessons. These lessons are inspired by various literary genres for children. The results show that with such old children are especially effective these techniques: simple pantomime, association circle, alley, a range of attitudes, live images. Input activities must have clearly defined understandable rules. It is appropriate to assign specific roles and provide or suggest children descriptions of figured situations.
